However, we understand that some clients may not be aware of some of the practices that should be followed when it comes to Email marketing. This may due to the fact that they have not had much experience with Email marketing in the past. Furthermore, Spam Email often gets mistaken with high volume Email marketing. Here are some tips:

-Do not use any misleading headers. This includes trying to use an attention grabber that does not reflect the actual service or product that you are providing.

-Include a clear unsubscribe link at the bottom of your Email. This is required by the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 and is simply proper business practice. It will also cut down on the number of potential complaints you may receive if people can clearly see how to opt-out from receiving any more of your Emails.

-Include your physical address at the bottom of the Email. This is also required by the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. It is required because it lets people know that you are not a spammer.

-Use our built in Spam Assassin software which rates your message on a score for spam. The higher your score is, the more likely it will be mistaken for spam. By using this feature, your Email marketing campaign is sure to be much more successful.
